Admission Procedure

BAMS Admission Process as per Ministry of AYUSH & Government of India Norms

Introduction

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been notified by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to conduct NEET (UG) on an All-India basis.

Basis of Admission

Admission to the BAMS course shall be done strictly on the basis of All India Rank and percentile obtained in NEET (UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi.

Counseling and admission shall be conducted as per the rules and guidelines issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

AYUSH Counseling Process
  • First-year BAMS admission is conducted by the AYUSH Admission Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi.
  • Eligible candidates must apply/register online on:
    www.ayush.gov.in or www.aaccc.gov.in
  • Without registration on the AACCC website, the candidate will not be eligible for admission.
  • The merit/selection list will be published by AACCC indicating the allotted college.
  • Candidates must report to the allotted college within the stipulated time along with original documents and prescribed fees.
  • Admission-related updates must always be checked on www.aaccc.gov.in and the college website.
Certificates / Documents Required at the Time of Counseling

(All original documents along with two sets of attested photocopies)

  • NEET (UG) Admit Card
  • NEET (UG) Mark Sheet
  • Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate / Addl. District Magistrate / Metropolitan Magistrate
    OR valid Indian Passport
    OR School Leaving Certificate of HSC / 12th indicating nationality as Indian
  • Domicile Certificate
  • S.S.C. (or equivalent) Passing Certificate (for Date of Birth)
  • H.S.C. (or equivalent) Examination Mark Sheet
  • College Leaving Certificate
  • Medical Fitness Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste Validity Certificate (if applicable)
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable)
  • Gap Affidavit (if applicable)
  • For Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates – Medical Fitness Certificate issued by an Authorized Medical Board
