About the Course

The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a 5.5-year undergraduate professional program designed to provide in-depth knowledge of classical Ayurveda along with modern medical sciences.

The curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation in Ayurvedic principles, diagnostics, pharmacology, Panchakarma therapies, surgery, gynecology, and modern clinical practices.

The program includes 4.5 years of academic education followed by a 1-year compulsory rotating internship in an attached Ayurvedic teaching hospital.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology
  • Minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by authorities
  • NEET (UG) qualification is mandatory
  • Admission through counseling as per government norms
  • Age criteria applicable as per regulatory guidelines
