Founder's Message
Dr. Prakash Chandra Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital is established in the name of Late Dr. Prakash Chandra Mishra, MBBS, MD Medicine son of hon’ble Justice Satish Chandra Mishra, Former chief justice of Patna high court and renowned jurist. Justice Mishra was great scholar and believed in Ayurveda, which incorporates Yoga, aroma, meditation, gems, herbs, diet, astrology colour and surgery.
Dr. Prakash Chandra Mishra was brought up in a family environment were diseases went treated through Ayurvedic practices, the Indian art of healing and living a healthy life.
The word “Veda” means knowledge, but this great treasure of knowledge was almost forgotten in India, which is its place of origin Ayurveda, which went through declining British period, revived and gained growth after Independence in 1947 and new institution of Ayurveda have been established. World’s interest in Ayurveda began in the mid of 1970’s, when Ayurvedic teachers from India began visiting U.S. and Europe and revived faith of world in one of the oldest and the traditional systems of medicine.
The Ancient wisdom in this traditional system of medicine is still not exhaustively explored. We have entered into the field of this traditional and oldest system of medicine, with a determination to educate people, and make this healthy life style, way of treatment of physical, mental, emotional diseases through the power of Ayurveda.
Our main objective is to be recognized as a center of excellence in research, education and clinical practice of Ayurveda.
